‘Elles sans frontières’ ASBL is a Belgian-Polish association founded in 2015 to work on the feminist awareness of emigration. It is the first Polish feminist association that indicates gender equality and the fight against gender discrimination in its statute.Each year the association organises the Congress of Polish Women in Brussels, gathering hundreds of participants and holding a feminist debate on such subjects sexuality and reproductive rights, feminist economics, gender based violence or civil and political perpetration of feminism with the involvement of well recognised Polish and international activists, intellectuals, politicians, artists. The Congress strongly supports the role of art and culture in the feminist movement. ESF cooperate with the organissers of the Polish Congress of Women, In 2020, the association created the ‘Elles pour Elles’ center fighting with violence against women and supporting its victims offering a psychological and legal help and organising webinars and women’s circles. ‘Elles sans frontières’ organises in Brussels wendo workshops for women and girls, One Billion Rising, empowerment workshops. The association was founded of the initiative of Agata Araszkiewicz, and its board is composed of: Anna Kiejna, Katarzyna Szkuta, Emilia Janisz, Ewa Żełudziewicz, Magdalena Kula and Inga Czerny (communication and public relations expert).
